Shirley Clarke's courses are available in various formats. ONE DAY COURSES These courses give quality INSET away from school. The courses take place in training establishments or hotels with lunch and all refreshments provided. One day courses are run throughout Great Britain and are ideal for head teachers, inspectors and advisors, assessment co-ordinators and class teachers. Some schools run a "rolling programme" sending two teachers at a time on one day courses for maximum attendance. See Current Courses for courses with places still available. LEARNING TEAMS LEAs gather 28 teachers to form an action research group which meets with Shirley Clarke three times a year. The last day includes a 'showcase' event for local schools. Teachers involved in a Learning Team develop deep understanding and expertise about formative assessment through their experimentation, feedback and analysis with other team members.
