Growth mindset

Rewards had been removed with an immediate impact. Most of the class fed back and agreed that they didn’t like them because they were unfair. Whole class marble jars were used for whole class reward.

Celebrating mistakes made children more willing to share their mistakes to help more people. It had taken the fear out of being wrong. All teachers were doing this.

Hands up was rarely used and named lollysticks are used instead most of the time.
