‘Last lesson, last week, last term’ had been used for recap assessment in maths by Y1 teachers which had highlighted gaps.
All teachers had used the odd one out template using visuals and words with no closed answer. This led to open ended discussion, justification and reasoning.
Multiple choice questions (a range of answers) with visuals allowed answers to be more accessible.
